I can admit I am that girl who thinks life is a fairy tale! I want to be Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, you name it.....I want it. Reality is not exactly the same, but I still dream about being romanced (my poor husband - my dreams are big!). I have the privilage of being married to a man who has made me his priority...I am blessed!
I think ever woman wants a little romance. As a woman it feels so good to be noticed not necessarily for our outward appearances, but for our inward and outward beauty. To be appreciated, needed, depended and relied upon. Much like God wants to romance us, we just tend to look for it in other places like the fairy tales, but mostly from our spouses. Do they stand a chance?
God has truly blessed me with my prince! He romances me beyond any expectation that I have ever had! I truly believed only the princesses in fairy tales were that lucky! However, I have come to realize that I deserve to be treated like a princess...like a child of God! I do get frustrated when I see my girlfriends in a relationship where they are not treated that way because I know that I know that my Maker knows there IS someone out there who will treat you as though God wants you treated!
