Has there ever been an event or moment in your life where you felt you stepped outside of yourself and felt like you were "Sacagawea, Indian Princess of the West" like Stasi did?
I have never been much of a "Sacagawea" but I will say that the older I get the more I feel like I can do....the braver I feel...and perhaps that corresponds to my stregthening relationship with my God - cause I know with Him I am strong.
would have to say my "Sacagawea" moment came during my call to move to Brownwood. Resigning from my job, leaving my family and hometown because I felt God calling me to move. Didn't feel brave at the time, but WOW did God use that time to grow me spiritually.
I don't think I have ever had that defining moment but I do know that as I work with the youth of our church and my athletes and see these young men and women accept Christ, I feel empowered knowing that He is using me...little ole me to broaden His Kingdom!!! To see someone's life change in the blink of an eye and know that they have eternal life is breathtaking!
